Our President in the Philippines won't let senate to imbestigate the rice crisis now. hmp... i smell bad maybe because the truth is we really don't have a rice crisis . The thing is they are badly in need of some more and more money for the campaigns of 2010 ellections.... Hmmp... i think sooo ....... Hi... madam President its very .......
At first I i don't know what is blog and whats for. But when i saw and read my friends blog. I convince and i think that it is a challenge for me somehow to learn and post something that comes to on mined.Now I love blogging this is one of my hobbies today. In addition, they said that some areas around the Mediterranean, parts of southern Africa, Noreastern Brazil and the Western U.S. region will likely suffer water shortages.
Rajendra Pachauri, the chief U.N. climate scientists, at the end of a meeting in Budapest that the rising frequency and intensity of floods and droughts could lead to a food crisis.
We may see a declined in agriculture production,'' said Pachauri,who is also chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel of Climate Change (IPCC) , which shared last year's Novel Peace Prize with former Vice President Al Gore.
An IPCC report presented at the meeting said the declined of water quantity and quality would lead to shortages of water for drinking and agriculture.
Millions of Africans could be afflicted by such water problems by 2020, unless action is taken to mitigate climate change, experts said.
While the proportion of heavy rainfalls will very likely increase, so will the areas simultaneously affected by extreme droughts. Oh my God Don't let it happen please.
Washington__The strong demand for rice overseas as well as its tight availability makes it also difficult for supplies to meet the rice demands of the Philippines, the USA Rice Federation said.
US rice exports this year have soared by more than 20 percent over that of last year,help by strong overseas demand for the staple.
